To Kill A Monster, Cross Solider, Shallow Side
I'm going a little out of order concert wise, because there's a bit more important new additions.
Last Saturday I went to Scarlet and Grey Cafe for my first show seeing To Kill A Monster without Ranger Danger. It was a fun and different change. I also started up a business deal with the guys that I'm excited about. More details later.
The show was the second night of the after party for Rock On The Range. Starting off with Cross Solider, a metal band, which in Scarlet and Grey's obnoxiously loud sound system, is a bit painful to listen to. Also not a huge fan of metal. Next was To Kill A Monster, who were great as always. Even after Joey forgot the words to a song. I really love their new songs and I'm looking forward to their recordings of them. Lastly was a band I had never heard of before but everyone was telling me how awesome they are, Shallow Side. And... they were. They were badass. When I get some money their album is the first on my list.

Major Catching Up
Okay, first off, let me just that things are going on with the Live My Last guys so if there was going to be any design work with them, it not going to be any time soon. Apparently there's something going on with the lead singer and the rest of the band and there's been a break. That's literally all I know for now. And it really sucks cause I just started listening to them and got really excited to be working with them but i guess... oh well. I hope everything works out in the end.
Before I get to what I actually wanted to talk about, there's a few other things I wanted to touch on really quickly. Ranger Danger and To Kill A Monster played at Victory's two Saturdays ago. Of course it was good. With them were two out of town bands, but neither of them caught my attention. I'm not going to have a post of the photos from that night, because I'm lazy, but they are up in the Photography tab to see. (Okay maybe I'll have a special one for the Jon pic i really liked (also I kinda ran up during Ranger Danger cover of ET and kissed Kyle (giggle)))
To Kill A Monster announced they were hitting the recording studio soon. I'm not sure if they're recording one of the three new songs or all of them but either way I'm excited. Also please help them get in Warped Tour by voting here http://www.battleofthebands.com/u/tokillamonster
Ranger Danger was in the studio Sunday to record Tiny Spoons. I wasn't able to go so no funny pics or video this time. Can't wait to hear it? Watch the video below.
Okay, I think that's every thing I need to catch up on.
ON TO THE UP ALL NIGHTS!!!!
It's been a long time since I've seen the guys and I really missed them. I've always felt the most comfortable with them and there shows, (yes even more then Ranger Danger). I 'm sure it's because I've known them for a while but they were one of the first to lead me down the rabbit hole. They welcomed me with open arms and I'll appreciate it until the day I die. It's been fun seeing new bands and making new friends lately but it was nice to return to "home-base" for a change. I really missed having a community around the band that I knew I was a part of and seeing lots of friends I've missed. The Up All Nights were great. Sammy was sick, but I personally don't think it hurt his performance. Jon Grubbs came up and filled in for Sammy for a song. Happily one of my favorites, Ancient Empress.
Lex Vegas of Cadaver Dogs even showed up and did a little drumming at the end. All around a really good time and was definitely the fix I needed. And you guys better not make me wait so long for the next one!!

New Concert Photos
First weekend of what I’m calling the Straight Show Run.
Basically I realized I have at least one show every weekend until March
starting off with, you guessed it, Ranger Danger. It was my return to O’Shecky’s
since last March. I was pleased to see lots of people there (there was a line
to get in) and lights on the front stage. Ranger Danger playing with more metal
groups again due to being their second show opening for Live My Last who once
again I failed to see due to friends wanting to leave early. Sorry guys. Also
because of that I only saw the first three bands.
Prosper started the night off. I wasn’t overly impressed
with them. They weren’t band but they weren’t great either. To Kill A Monster
killed it as always. Not much else to say about that. Ranger Danger was after
and they were as good as always. They premiered their new song “Tiny Spoons”
which I liked even though I couldn’t understand what Jon was saying. The ended
with Mike from TKAM playing guitar freeing Jon to fully dance about the stage.
Which had the show end with lots of energy. Even though Mike broke the guitar.
BUT WAIT THERES MORE
Also there is the Kyle zombie walk gif from that night that I've previously posted
